The Women's Safe Space Center in Kirkuk celebrates International Women's Day

Under the slogan "Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow" and on the occasion of International Women's Day (8 March), in conjunction with the celebrations on the occasion of International Women's Day, the Safe Space Center for Women and Girls in Kirkuk held a celebration center on this occasion, in the presence of (30) women and girls and their children and women with disabilities who received psychological, social, legal and economic support services.
The event focused on celebrating women with disabilities in the city of Kirkuk, especially those who completed their training in the professions of hand weaving, cooking and sewing through the cash-for-work program implemented by the Institute for Women Leadership in partnership with the and with the support of the Government of Japan.
