Call for Proposals: Support Governmental Partners, Women Leaders and CSOs in their efforts to implement the WPP and WPS agenda in Iraq

UN Women is looking for partnerships with an NGO to advance the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE) agenda by supporting governmental partners (Including ministries), CSO’s and women Leaders in their efforts to implement the WPP and WPS agenda. Through this proposal, UNWomen aims to strengthen capacities of the government and civil society in advocacy, coordination, conflict resolution and seeks to empower women leaders/gender champions to lead on INAP II implementation.
Overall objective:
Support Governmental Partners, Women Leaders and CSOs in their efforts to implement the WPP and WPS agenda in Iraq.
- Impact 8/Outcome 8.1: Strengthened and effective inclusive, people centred, gender-responsive, human rights-based policies and national systems contribute to gender equality, the promotion of protection, social protection, social cohesion and peaceful societies, with focus on the most vulnerable populations, including women, youth and minorities
