The regional 'Dare to Care' programme aims to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment using the involvement of men and boys in unpaid care and household responsibilities as an entry point. The program is also meant to contribute to shifting discriminatory social norms and breaking stereotypes that impede women’s participation in paid employment and the public sphere.
