Infographic: Empowering Women in the Economy –Numbers Behind the Progress

The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), an initiative by UN Women, aim to foster workplace gender equality through private sector engagement. 
Among the 600 signatories, 1.1 million employees are impacted, with significant strides reported in female recruitment, retention, equal pay, and leadership roles. 
By leveraging private sector growth, UN Women seeks to boost women’s labor force participation by 5% across Arab states by 2030.
