The National Conference on Women’s Paths in the Modernization Visions

Jordan, entering its second centennial, is undergoing a wide range of political, economic and public sector modernization which started in June 2021 with the establishment of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System.

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Women’s Empowerment, with UN Women and the Politics and Society Institute, organized the National Conference on Women’s Paths in the Modernization Visions, presenting the outcomes of the inclusive and consultative work led by the IMC, with support from national and international partners, to ensure that women have equal opportunities to participate in all aspects of the three pillars of political, economic and public sector modernization in Jordan.
