The Japan-UN Women Resilience Programme

UN Women Lebanon with support from the Government of Japan implemented the project “Strengthening Resilience and Protection of Women and Youth in Host communities” which provided more than 4000 women, both Lebanese from host communities, and Syrian refugees, with training, income-generating activities and gender-based violence prevention and protection training. The project was implemented, since 2015, with local partners Fair Trade Lebanon, Abaad MENA and Fondation Safadi in partnership with Lebanon’s Ministry of Social Affairs in different areas across the country.
