UN Women’s latest Data Innovation: GenTrack Arab States Launch
Introduced to you by UN Women’s Regional Office for the Arab States, GenTRACK provides a comprehensive understanding of the situation of women and girls in the region, through easily accessible data that facilitates analyses, and informs policy decisions.
GenTRACK hosts 194 gender indicators across a variety of thematic areas, sourced from nine credible global datasets and indices. The platform offers insights into the links between gender equality and women's economic empowerment, gender and governance, and violence against women and girls. The dashboard provides policymakers with data to define effective development interventions and drive positive changes for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in the Arab States.
Generously funded by the Government of Finland, GenTRACK provides affordable, reliable, and up-to-date data and allows for the easy identification of areas where progress needs to be accelerated. GenTRACK can guide actions in the region to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This can lead to real improvements in the lives of women and girls in the Arab States.
