The study focuses on intimate partner violence and particularly on its economic costs. It reviews evidence-based knowledge and provides in-depth understanding of the human rights and socioeconomic consequences of intimate partner violence in the Arab region.
It examines the linkages between intimate partner violence and social, economic and health related factors. It highlights the importance of estimating the costs of intimate partner violence as an innovative approach and an advocacy tool to address the heightened implications of this phenomenon.
