UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls – 2025 Call for Proposals (OPEN)

The 2025 Call responds to the urgent need for long-term, flexible support that enables feminist organizations to persist, adapt, and lead transformative change. Proposals are welcomed that address violence against structurally marginalized women and girls through prevention, services, and legislation, while strengthening CSO resilience and sustainability.
Application window: 18 September – 19 November 2025 (closes 2:00 PM EST)
Grant size: USD 150,000 – 800,000 over four years
Who can apply: Civil society organizations in countries listed on the OECD DAC ODA-eligible list (women’s and girls’ rights organizations; women-led, constituent-led, and small organizations strongly encouraged)
What’s new in 2025
- One global call for two funding cohorts (streamlined model)
- Adjusted grant ceiling up to USD 800,000
- Expanded flexible funding (up to 18% for small orgs; 12% for large orgs)
- Simplified application process
